CholScore puts saturated fat, steps, workouts and streaks on one line, then gives your day a score you can act on.
2 weeks free · nothing to pay up front · iOS 15 or later

Why CholScore
Food, steps, workouts and streaks usually live in four different apps. CholScore connects them, so every day gets one honest score.
The daily score
Every day in CholScore gets a score out of 100. Move the sliders to see exactly how it’s worked out.
3,414 more steps would add +5.
A day with CholScore
08:10 · Breakfast
Scan a barcode and CholScore looks the product up in Open Food Facts, then shows how much of today’s saturated-fat target it uses.

Apple Health brings your steps and supported workouts straight in. Reach 5,000 steps and the final +5 movement points land on your score.

21:15 · Evening
Finish under your saturated-fat target and CholPoints go into your reward bank. Achievements unlock across food, movement, workouts and consistency.

Sunday · Week in review
Your weekly report adds up the days on target, minutes moved, workouts and records, and tells you plainly how the week went.

The tour
Checking food, running a workout, unlocking an achievement. Everything you see is recorded straight from CholScore on iPhone.
Why CholScore exists
I started building what I wished we’d had.
It started after my wife was told she had high cholesterol. We understood the usual advice about saturated fat, diet and exercise, but found it surprisingly hard to turn into something practical we could track day to day.
So I built the app we wished we’d had. CholScore now brings food and saturated-fat tracking, barcode scanning, exercise and movement, a daily score, rewards and long-term progress together in one iPhone app.

Achievements
144 illustrated achievements, each one earned. Personal records are spotted for you, so progress in the gym gets noticed as well as progress on the plate.
History & insights
The calendar marks every day’s score. Trends chart your saturated fat against your target, and your CholScore, day by day. Together they show which weeks went well and where things slipped.

My Results
Keep your cholesterol test results in one place and finally understand what they mean.

Scan your results letter or use manual entry, in mmol/L or mg/dL.
Total cholesterol, HDL, LDL and triglycerides, each explained in plain English, showing where it sits against general healthy ranges.
See how each result has changed since your last test, and watch the trend build over months and years.
Note changes like starting daily walks or swapping to olive oil, so you can see them alongside your results.
Save the date and time, get a reminder, and keep any fasting instructions to hand.
Private, like everything in CholScore. Your results stay on your iPhone, with an optional backup to your own private iCloud. No accounts, no servers, and we never see them.
My Results helps you keep track of your numbers and understand what they mean. It isn’t medical advice. Always talk to your doctor or healthcare professional about your results.

Everyone starts with a 2-week free trial of the whole app, with nothing to pay up front. If you cancel in your Apple Account settings before the 2 weeks are up, you pay nothing.
If you keep going, CholScore+ continues on the monthly or yearly plan you chose. The yearly plan comes at a big saving, and current prices are shown in the App Store.
Your data stays exactly where it is on your iPhone, and nothing is lost. If you were using CholScore for free, you get the same 2-week free trial. If you already subscribe, your plan carries on as normal.
No. CholScore reads your steps and supported workouts from Apple Health, and your iPhone counts steps on its own. An Apple Watch works well with it, but you don’t need one.
Each day is scored out of 100:
| Saturated fat against your target | up to 50 |
| Active minutes (full marks at 45) | up to 25 |
| Logging an activity | 15 |
| Logging food | 5 |
| 5,000 steps or more | 5 |
Stay at or under 75% of your saturated-fat target for the full 50. At 100% it’s 40, at 125% it’s 20, and at 200% or more it’s 0. Try it with the sliders.
NHS guidance is no more than 20 g a day for women and 30 g for men. CholScore offers both, or you can set your own figure, so it works wherever you live. If you’ve been given a specific target, use that one.
On your iPhone, and in your own iCloud account if you turn on automatic iCloud backup. There’s no CholScore account and no CholScore server. When you start your trial or subscribe, RevenueCat checks your subscription using an anonymous ID. It never sees your food, exercise or health data. Read the Privacy Policy.
Turn on automatic iCloud backup and CholScore keeps an up-to-date copy of your data in your own iCloud account. You can also export a backup file manually at any time and keep it wherever you like.
No. CholScore helps you build healthier habits, and My Results explains your test numbers against general healthy ranges, but it isn’t a medical device and doesn’t diagnose anything. Always talk to your GP or healthcare professional about your results.
CholScore is made for iPhone and needs iOS 15 or later.
Turn on Vacation Mode and your streaks are protected while you’re away.
Subscriptions, including the free trial, are managed by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose CholScore.
